Friendly staff, nice sites, very close to the royal gorge, clean laundry room, 10-15 minutes from groceries and town (cañon city). I enjoyed the quaintness so much I booked another night.

Our experience here was great! The sites seem recently renovated with beautiful patios, a dog run and landscaping. Bathrooms were really clean, check in and check out was a breeze. Our son loved playing mini golf. It was too cool to use the pool but it looked clean and ready for fun! There seem to be a lot of options for kids, we just didn’t have enough time to enjoy them. My only recommendation would be some updates to the playground which was a little dated.

We stayed at the Royal Gorge KOA for 5 days and thoroughly enjoyed it. Clean and level sites, beautiful views, clean bathrooms, and a few activities to do that we didn't get a chance to, but will next time. The office staff were also awesome and very friendly. We will definitely be staying again.

Restrooms were very clean 10/10. Notice an issue with the dog park, it was taken care of right away by Joy 😊. Weekday Staff was friendly and took care of concerns. We love the Paw Pens 10/10. Will be staying again.

Very disappointed. We've rented cabins from KOA across the state. All had refrigerator, TV and heaters, this one had nothing when we arrived. Air blew under door and out warped windows. Luckily we have good sleeping bags because we were afraid to leave little electric heater they provided on, after seeing smoke alarm wires hanging out of ceiling. The whole place is clean but falling apart.
