Slept here overnight in the car. Beautiful to wake up to.
Tons of people. Not the ideal solo fishing spot. You will rub elbows except on a weekday. Kokonee are spawning, beautiful, and active right now. Second week of October.
Great day on the river. Always helps to talk to your area fly shops to see what's getting hit. South Platte here is easily accessible. While parking lots were full, plenty of room to stake out a nice stretch.
Beautiful place 💯 over fished way to many people I probably seen about 300 hundred or more fisherman fishing the same stretch of river. Nice hang out spot to meet local fisherman but that's about all.
Fishing was amazing. was plenty of space for a number of others fishing during the same time.
