Colorado State Wildlife Areas require either a hunting, fishing or land permit for use.
It's quiet. We can walk our dogs off the leash (unless anyone is there). It's a nice walk.
Nice place for free overnight stay. We took advantage of the gun range and had a nice walk out past the fishing pond and had a beautiful skyline view!
Came in late, no signage prohibiting camping, not a soul in sight so we took the chance. Didn't notice any smells from nearby farms... After a bright orange moonrise, we were greeted by the worst wind storm I've ever encountered. Welcome to the Great Plains.
