This place is beautiful and it's a great place to camp and fish. I even saw some people swimming in the water though I don't think I would (I saw a lot of snakes here). I caught blue gill, yellow perch, bass and crappie but never landed any trout. Not sure if they're in here or not. Either way, if you like to fish and actually catch something when you go out, this is a great place to go.
Stopped here just to check it out on a cross country trip. Definitely off the beaten track.
The lake was beautiful and the campground was small but the sites looked level. We marked it as someplace we would like to stay on a future visit.
Nice state park. Fishing is good and the campground is clean. Rarely crowded.
