This recreation area is part of Harlan County Lake
From town: Go 1/2 mi E of US-183 on South St.
Very quiet during the weekday stay. Nice restaurants to go to in town. Managers of the park we're very friendly and offered assistance.
Restrooms require a code and are not super fancy but are clean. They're not big (one person per restroom?) but if you have an RV you can use then you probably aren't going to be waiting in a line. The host was friendly. The campground is across the street from town and theres a walking/biking path that goes by the campground. Theres also a recycling trailer in the next lot so you can recycle. There are full hookup sites and pullthroughs. Our spot was gravel.
Nice and friendly place. Not many daily rental spaces and kinda tight, not much room between... But good enough for a few days winding thru the back roads of Nebraska. $25 electric and water $10 dry camping but I didnt see the dry camp area.
We stayed at the park twice recently. Would give 10 stars if possible! Justin from the marina was extremely helpful both times. This park is extremely clean, quiet and beautiful....a true hidden gem of Alma! (We also found business owners and residents the friendliest and nicest you'll find anywhere)!
