Stayed there in early February 2022. Room was pleasant but no hot water, even after running the tap for many minutes!! The parking lots was a solid sheet of ice, at least 4" thick. There was no way to safely walk from the car to the door of the room. I asked the office person about the ice and was told that the owners would not spend money on sand for the parking lot. It was seriously dangerous! Sadly, it was the only option in this lovely small town.

Ate at the Rivers Edge restaurant. Tables could use a good scrubbing, they were sticky and there was crud in the crevasses of the wood tables.

The gal that was pulling double duty being the bar tender and waitress did a great job...food was decent, portions pretty small for the price. Good atmosphere and beautiful scenery.

I booked because this place was reasonably priced and one mile from a wedding we were attending (at White Raven Event Center). When you arrive, the front looks a little old. However, our room was super cute and clean. The back door opens right to a view over the river - gorgeous. I highly recommend, but make sure you don't need too many amenities (no wifi, no iron, etc.). BUT, we needed an iron for my husband's dress shirt and she let us borrow their one iron from the office.

This is a country motel. Clean and safe with a cute decor, not cheesy. Pet friendly. Friendly and helpful workers. The back door is right on the Clark Fork River, fantastic view. There are trains across the river, but the noise was not bad at all. The restaurant/ bar has upscale food. Photo is in the spring when the river was flowing high so its muddy, but it's usually clear.
