Always a treat to go to the Jack. The cheap drinks pay for the gas to get there. Also, the food is top notch.
If you find yourself longing for a version of “Cheers” in Montana look no further then The Jack. Yes, they claim to be the best bar in America and to be honest, I don’t think I can argue that point. The Jack sits at the end of a nondescript gravel road and as you trundle along you’ll feel all the stress of your everyday world leave you as you get close. The Jack is a true gem! It’s cozy yet big, check out the patio where live music and karaoke is held. Take a peek at the cabins for rent and then there’s the campground that offers a rustic way to sleep off a good time. The service, and I’ll admit that’s why I go out cuz I can just about make anything myself, is friendly and welcoming and I love great service!
The food is superb pub grub. Outstanding snacks, you MUST try the pickle fries🤤I had the western burger and it’s was sublime. If The Jack can’t solve your problems, then you’ve got PROBLEMS! Come to The Jack, it’s…perfect!
We just did burger and fries. Sorry to say wasn't all that great. No flavor, meat was really greasy and the lettuce was seriously submerged in water then placed on the basket, u could pick it up and water was coming off it. Onion rings had NO taste whatsoever expect the oil they was fried in. Staff could be more attentive. For being 1st timers. We have no desire to go back.
I was on vacation visiting family. They took me to lunch at The Jack Saloon. Having been born and raised in the Rocky Mountains I could appreciate the massive trees used to construct the building, along with the labor that was required to build it. Decor helped fuel my appreciation as many very large chain saws were on display. Also included were an option to dine inside, or outside on a covered back porch. And I almost forgot they have a small stage for live bands. Service was excellent, staff was friendly, and the food was very tasty. They had a menu with a good selection to choose from. I saw they also had small cabins for rent so people can stay awhile and enjoy the area.
This place is so cool. It's off the beaten path in Lolo, Montana at the base of the Bitterroot Mountains. They rent out cabins. We ate there for dinner and the food was very good. Inside is rustic and there are unique wood carvings everywhere and lots of fun signs on the walls. Ceiling and walls are covered with autographed dollar bills. We left some too! It is a must do and we'll known in this area.
