Very nice campground and wish we felt comfortable enough to come back. The permanent residents were VERY rude and disrespectful to us on numerous occasions. We had 3 sites booked for our kids, 7 kids ranging from 1-15 and they absolutely loved the playground and the pool. However, we had a permanent resident ride up to us in our site and be very rude and disrespectful. Also, they were very rude and disrespectful during the cornhole tournament and near the front office... So very sad, because otherwise we had a fantastic time!
I stayed at Rippling Stream Campground a couple of weeks ago and had an absolute blast! For starters, there is over 25 acres of woods to explore with trails. There is also a creek you can walk up with the kids or your dog. My daughter actually caught some crawdads with her net that she bought at the campground store. Speaking of that, everything in the store was priced fairly. They don't try and price gouge you here just because you forgot something. There's a rec room, pool table, laundry, showers and even a Moose if you're a member. There's an existing campground which they were even adding more equipment to while I was there. They even have a pool. I also happen to know they are working on a restaurant and let me tell you, Barb makes some good food! (She let me try some of what she was testing). The staff is amazing, the seasonal campers are super friendly and this is just an all around fun place to be. I spoke with the owner and he has big plans for the place. I highly recommend you check this place out. Oh, I hear they even offer primitive tent camping!
I love it here it's so beautiful and it's very peaceful everyone is very polite and respectful everyone is willing to help you no matter what and care about everyone that comes here to stay. The only down fall is the phone service sucks at times depending on what phone company you have and the Internet sometimes don't work right. But really nothing bad to say about this campground.
Had our family reunion there in their shelter. Nice amount of picnic tables, brick grill (if u don't have your own), water spigot-something you might not think about but comes in super handy! I didn't have anything to do with the reservations etc but I was told the new owners are awesome to work with, much better than the previous! Would definitely recommend Rippling Stream Campground for birthdays, reunions, grad parties etc!
