Located 9 miles N from New Paris and 2 miles S from New Madison. From I-70W to Exit 10 (US127). Go N 6.8 miles on 127, through West Manchest to Castine. In Castine, left on Ohio722W. Stay until it dead ends. Turn right on Ohio 121N for 2 miles, then left on Thomas Road 1 mile.
From I-70E to Exit 156B(Indiana). Right on US40E 1.1 miles. Left on Ohio 320N into New Paris. Go straight through New Paris (road turns into Ohio 121). North on Ohio 121 9.6 miles from US40. Look for sign at the corner of Thomas Road.
Beautiful campground, well-kept & landscaped sites. A little too in the middle of nowhere for us.
This was our first time out camping. Amanda (owner) and her husband were very helpful and friendly. The camp site was clean and well manicured. I would recommend and will be using this campground in the future.
Very nice looking place but rarely could find anyone in office (4 days before we found anyone there). Water was brown from so much rust even with a filter. Couldn't level camper because pad was so unlevel. No internet was fine but couldn't even make phone calls.
Stayed at a primitive site,best sleep I had in a long time. Staff is very friendly, tenants are welcoming and the pool was quite refreshing. Have a laundry room,game room(mainly pool table,foosball,pingpong) showers and restroom both very clean and nice hot shower if desired. Lots to do here for the family or just a couple wanting a weekend getaway.
