Red Oak Campground is nestled in the Scandia Mountains of Western Pennsylvania, abundant with forest and wildlife, and providing an opportunity to get away from the city life and back to nature. We have plenty of shady or open campsites for every style of camping. Most sites are level and many have full hookups. We also have tent sites for those who prefer roughing it. We offer full service facilities and a wide range of amenities for our guests. Campers appreciate how our modern, comfortable bathhouses are kept as clean as possible.
Red Oak Campground offers complete facilities to make your stay as comfortable as possible. On the premises, we have an ice cream shop, bakery, mini-golf, and a heated swimming pool that is open from Memorial Day to Labor Day. For a break from hiking, swimming or chores around the campsite, stop by our game room. The room features pool tables, air hockey, pinball and video games. Don’t forget to drop by our store for firewood, propane, groceries, those yummy baked goods, gifts and last-minute items.
Our community pavilion hosts several of our planned events and is available for private rental for special occasions like graduation parties and family reunions. The facility offers a grilling pit and internal heating. We also offer a large recreation area, with plenty of space for team sports, as well as a playground for children.

We have a seasonal camp site here for the first time this year. It would have 5 stars if the wifi was working properly and even the "premium" that we have to pay for will not allow us to work remote so it is not worth paying for.
We camped at Red Oak for the first time. The people at the campground office seemed very friendly and accommodating. There are primarily seasonal sites here. But we were able to book a pull-through with full hook ups. The wi-fi was great at our site….we had no problems watching Netflix and Hulu. The campground is remote. Your cell phone is not going to work unless you are hooked up to the wi-fi. You must plan to drive a distance to eat and shop. That said, we loved spending the day in Salamanca and Ellicottville. We highly recommend Dina’s in Ellicottville for a good bite to eat.
Just had a delightful weekend camping trip there this past Labor Day weekend. The office staff was very nice and the permanent campers were very accommodating and friendly. We’re hoping to get a permanent site some day.
My husband and I enjoyed our time there. I wanted to have a get-a-way retreat from every day life. It was quiet and peaceful in the off season.
A visually pleasing campground with nice lots. The biggest issue is the lack of rule enforcement. Quiet time is supposed to be from 11pm to 8am but there were drunk people partying until 1am blasting country music loud enough to hear from anywhere on the campgrounds. If you like to party, this is the place for you. If you have a family, probably best to stay away and find a more family friendly location.
