The review I am asked to rate is for Sparrow Pond, which is a campground not a hotel. To speak in regards to the campground. We did enjoy our day stays however I feel the lock in fees are insane. If there is going to be a $50 lock in fee we will not return. We pay for our stays when we book our sites. I feel by paying in advance the lock in fee should be waived.
Awesome Place!! My family and I Love Sparrow Pond. There was a make your own boat race and there were ducks who let us feed them and lots of fish for fishing! Great Place! We stayed in our camper and the showers were clean and the heated pool was great!
We held my daughter and son in law's "I do Barbeque" at Sparrow Pond after their destination wedding to Mexico was cancelled due to covid. We all looked at it as "the best we could do" in light of the circumstances. The venue was wonderful! Everyone worked with us to make sure the event was beautiful and everyone who came commented on what a beautiful event it was. I would not change a thing about the day. We greatly appreciate everyone at Sparrow Pond for helping to make the event a great memory!
We’ve been camping here for several years. We live a couple hours away and stay here for my son’s annual soccer tournament. It is a laid back campground with just enough stuff to do for kids, but not so much that you’re exhausted running the kids from place to place. My kid’s favorite things to do are fishing in the beautiful pond and swimming in the pool. The price for campsites and cabins are very reasonable.
We just stayed 1 evening passing through, location perfect for our needs & secure. If we stayed more than 1 night, we would have enjoyed the blend of long term & shorter term campers/community set in a neighborhood set up with some twists and turns to soften. We can't comment on other amenities due to our short, overnight stay. If passing by again, would be on our short list for a couple of nights.
