Willow Bay Campground has 101 family campsites, 38 in which are electrical hookups, each containing a picnic table, fire ring, and tent pad. Facilities include hot water showers, flush and vault toilets, pressurized water fountains, and a trailer dump station. Firewood and ice is available for sale at the campground for your convenience. Dead and down wood may be used as firewood. There’s a broad, concrete boat launch with a courtesy dock and a spacious parking lot. The large, well-shaded picnic area, with restrooms and a pavilion, sits on a slope overlooking the Allegheny Reservoir. An early morning or late evening walk often provides exciting opportunities to view a variety of wildlife.
Take Hwy 50 from Sacramento toward Placerville. 9 miles before Placerville, take Ponderosa Rd exit at Shingle Springs, left over freeway, and turn right on the first road on right (North Shingle Rd) until Jct with Hwy 49. Turn left and cross bridge to resort on right.

Reservations taken through recreation.gov April 12th. to October 31st. Water is run through the reservation period, being shut down the last week in October and started early April. To confirm water is on in the fringe season check our facebook page or call 813-368-4158.
