Beautiful place. Visited on July 10th - 11th. I was never a fan of camping. Spaces to close together, nosy people, and way to noisy. My son invited me to go up and just try it. If I wanted to go I could without issue. Well I stayed and had an amazing peaceful time. The other campers gave a simple way and a smile. They stayed to themselves as we did. The owner's were so friendly and pleasant. They do a great job taking care of the place and ensuring all guests are taken care of to the best of their ability.
We had a nice site, no one really bothers you there. The bonfire was horrible waste of time. The Porta potty was absolutely disgusting. There is 1 that is used by all and wasn't cleaned all weekend. The main bathroom was clean Saturday night, Sunday morning was dirty. Will never stay there again.
We were tent camping. The site we had was nice - large and shaded. A porcupine wandered into the site on the last night. The bathhouse was clean and functional.
Absolutely amazing weekend we just had. Owners were amazing, friendly people, well kept grounds, beautiful lake, fun boating and so much more. My family absolutely loved it and hope to be back soon. Thank you!
We love going to Ponderosa Pines! The new owners are amazing! Nice clean family campground. It has a cute little country store, small game room, mini golf course, fishing lake, horse shoe pits, basketball court, nice clean bathrooms with showers. You can also purchase firewood right on location. The campground is only a few minutes away from downtown Honesdale.
