Fishermen, you’ll love our campground! We are located right on the Delaware River just above the famous Kellam’s Bridge. You can catch the shad running in the early spring. We have some of the best fishing along the river; with scrappy, small mouth bass, trout, and walleye.
We are a family owned [campground](), where you can enjoy the privacy and tranquility of the river, with room to breathe! You will marvel at the wildlife that is natural to this area. You may even spot a soaring eagle or two that nest nearby.
The Upper Delaware has been preserved and unspoiled by the families that have lived on the river for centuries.
So bring your tent, trailer, or RV to the Soaring Eagle Campground and enjoy our hospitality.
If you are driving an RV, please remember that Kellams Bridge has an 8 foot clearance so if you are over 8' and are coming from New York please call us for an alternate route. Also if you need additional directions, please feel call us 570-224-4666. Go www.soaringeaglecampgound.com for local directions
Had a wonderful one night stay this Saturday (late September). Needed to reserve last minute campsite for a group of many first time campers, and they were very accommodating, and friendly. Bathrooms / Restrooms are CLEAN! Showers as well. Staff were so incredibly helpful and approachable and made sure to help us from the moment we stepped into the office. If you have time, make sure to visit the river shore and look up at a magnificent view of all the stars. Our entire group agreed that we would most definitely come back! Thank you Soaring Eagle!
This is our favorite place to camp! Amazing family owned and operated. Top river spot with incredible swimming. Thank you for the memories! All the best until next time.
A bit pricey as far as camping goes. You can get a state park site for 5 people for the same price this place charges per person per night. And on top of that they charge you for bringing your own kayaks/tubes whether you use them or not. Not even sure that is a legal practice. I reccomend dumping the kayaks in the woods before checking in. They sell water shoes at the store, but they didn't charge us for bringing our own. Baffling! But beautiful area right on the Delaware.
An amazing, wonderful campground! It was quiet here with around 10 families in the whole campground. All the staff were very friendly, and I loved all of them. We arrived here on Friday evening, and we stayed till Sunday morning. There are 4 portable restrooms (porta potties). You can also use the bathroom near the office and there is 1 portable restroom there. All your neighbor-campers are friendly. There is a fire-pit in every campsite and picnic tables. You can go kayaking, tubing, or canoeing, or swim in the water. The current is very strong, so I suggest staying on the right side of the river (the campsite side). Enjoy the moment here and the view!
This is a beautiful oasis of nature. The river is gorgeous and the staff are incredibly friendly. I have been going for years and plan on going for years. Great for a family trip, a couples trip, a guys trip, or any kind of fun. Plan to go forever, love it.
