From jct I-84 (exit 53) & US 209: Go 3 mi S on US 209.
Nice and clean. Decent sized camp sites shaded with tree and great views. Camping by the river is perfect but come with some ear plugs as the nearby I-84 traffic is loud.
It is 1AM and it sounds like I’m on Spring break in Mexico City. I have 2 young children and the site next to us is BLASTING music, screaming, yelling, and has truck headlights on and lights tied to trees.
This place is so very beautiful but I will NEVER REVISIT.
Kids are impressionable. If you want them to have a nice camping experience, DO NOT BRING YOUR KIDS HERE.
Camping is to enjoy the peace of nature not THIS. (Picture below)
Horrible experience. Leaving tomorrow not camping the full 2 nights here.
The idiots may get to sleep it off all day but I have outdoor activities with my children.
Asked kindly to turn music down at 12:30AM. The belligerent old man got nasty. Turned it UP.
Never experienced anything like this while camping. Zero enforcement of rules by camp ground staff, zero care for others, by the party people. Just go to a party. Why go camping?
Right off of 206 too. So there is that noise as well. You’ve been warned.
We pulled in just before the office closed for the evening. They were very helpful & accommodating getting us a place to park the RV for the night. Great shop, beautiful river access, lovely place all around. Hope to return during the summer & do some water trips & camp for several days!
Do not stay here! It was unsafe for my kids. People were so inconsiderate and rules not enforced.
We had a site that was next to parking lot. People DROVE through our campsite.
When we moved the table they drove around the table. Also they were not driving slow.
Cabin guests were constantly walking through our campsite instead of going around. In fact 130 in the morning someone is yelling at other person to run to bathroom the throw up. Gross people!
People played music and were so loud until all hours.
There was more than once a line to shower.
People did not leash dogs and some had three dogs. Both against the rules.
The kicker was a German shepherd ran after my child. I scream at the dog and my son got in our trailer. The dog was under our canopy. I yelled for someone to come get their dog. Had to do this twice before someone got their dog. She said oh she is nice... um except she was charging my child and in my campsite.
I know some of these complaints are due to inconsiderate people but staff did nothing to follow through with rules. Was so glad to leave and never again!
Last we ate pretty sure we heard gunshots late at night. For your safety do not stay.
Went camping this weekend with my husband and three kids (ages 6 & 7). We camped at site 184 rustic waterfront tent site. The views were beautiful but the site itself was lacking. The “flat spot” for your tent not only isn’t flat but barely fit our tent, couple with a very steep drop to where we put our car. We made due but they should really disclose that only small tents would fit well at that site. The one next to us (185) was even smaller and would probably only fit a 2 person tent. The website promised trash pick up at our site 3 times per day but in the three days we were there they only collected trash when we were checking out on Sunday. During the day you’ll find yourself in a large hazy cloud of smoke filled with the smell of lighter fluid and weed. At night, you’ll have the same smells but coupled with the loudest music you’ve ever heard. There were several parties happening both nights until midnight or later all battling for the Loudest Music Award. The bathrooms were clean and showers were good, too. Don’t expect any wifi even though they claim to have it. And don’t expect access to drinking water, they don’t have any. Won’t be returning.
