this stay was NOT worth the money at all. we spent $1,000 for a pool and fishing. activities were listed on the website but found out when we got here that they were only on weekends. (which was not mentioned on the website). website also mentioned a billiard table, but staff said they never had one. Once we got here, staff were not very welcoming. answers were very short considering this was our first time here. the shower in the cabin had bugs in it. found two spiders. Bunk mattresses were EXTREMELY uncomfortable, tossing and turning all night. My sister found a can of tabaco underneath her mattress, so that goes to show that they don’t clean very well. Website said there was live entertainment yet there was none. Said there was a snack stand, there was none. There is nothing to do other than fishing and swimming in a pool. Definitely not worth spending $1,000.

AVOID! You have been warned! We stayed here once last month. This place is essentially a trailer park. This place is not maintained or cleaned much. Sites are tight and not picked up or mowed much. The “LOCALS” are not nice living within the compound. Very Expensive for the quality. I’m all for paying good money for a nice campground but this one is not worth the money. The pools are dirty and water slide is not working. WIFI is not free and for the price it is very slow.

We have come now on 3 separate occasions to spend time with seasonal family. We have always liked drummer boy in the past, however this time things have changed. The waterslide & hot tub were closed for the season, our granddaughter was very upset not to use the slide. The pool behind office is in major disrepair and cause injuries to campers. Its a shame the waterfalls are gone.

We stayed in the cottages. They were clean enough for the stay, but plumbing could use some maintenance. 1 toilet clogged regularly, maybe something wrong with the pipes, the fridge was large & in charge for a stay of 4 people. That was great, but seemed over compensating, compared to The 2nd cottage had a very small dorm fridge for 8 people. So barely any space for cold items. Had to buy coolers to accommodate food & drinks for the crew. A larger fridge would be ideal for more people in cottage than for small crew cottage a dorm fridge would be more suitable. Cottage 6 had an amazing mattress, but cottage 4 had the worst. The floor would be more comfortable. Needless to say we did not sleep well and had body aches for our whole stay. Some cottages have no parking for your vehicle, so I feel it forces you to rent a golf cart to get around when it should be choice. You have to park you vehicle far from your sight which is incredibly inconvenient. Some areas around the cottages with no car parking space can be cleared out to make room for your vehicle.

Some rules regarding pets are not enforced. A large dog of 3 dogs jumped fencing clearly designed for 5lbs dogs not 50lb or larger, not secured with a leash & no owner on site came after my granddaughter walking our dog. Thankfully no dog fights ensued, but my granddaughter was traumatized by the incident thinking a fight was about to happen. Due to no trust in pet owners being responsible she can no longer walk our dogs here alone. Sight 19. Yup i just threw the owner under the bus. The activities are fun, but could use more creative thinking considering the cost of nightly stays. I gave 5 starts for the employee, always very gracious and accommodating to camper’s needs. Thank you for that. The rest i gave low stars for maintenance.

Great location! LOTS of sites so prepare to walk if you didn't rent a golf cart (they run out). Mini golf closed at 6pm on Saturday evening, other places allow it all night. Camp store didn't have much on the shelves to offer, the snack shop was never open. Sites are spacious!
