We just returned from Artillery Ridge Campground in Gettysburg. We reserved site 401 which we loved the space of it. There was plenty of room for our dogs to be tied out and not get near our neighbors at all. The site was not level, our tires were off the ground when the auto level system stopped, so we had to handle that and our bottom step was a foot off the ground. The biggest issue we had with this place was it is advertised on their website that all sites are 30 AND 50 amp. We reserved with that assurance on a very, very hot weekend where our camper could only run one AC. By the afternoon, our camper was 86 degrees with our 3 dogs and us inside. Please either make all sites 30 and 50 amp or change your website! That’s false advertisement and not fair to those who require both AC units on hot weather visits. Other than that, everyone was nice and it was a clean campground. We didn’t get to use the pool since it was so hot and over crowded, but it looked nice. The miniature golf looked like fun as well. We will be back, but unfortunately, not to site 401….even though it was a great, roomy site.

We had an excellent long weekend here with our horses. The campground is extremely well kept, the staff is super friendly and helpful. It's definitely a busy place on weekends but there are lots of fun activities and live music to enjoy, and the more quiet weekday was relaxing and peaceful. We loved the fact that you can ride from the campground directly into the battlefield. Our horses were very happy and loved getting all the attention and taking pictures with visitors. We got some big bags of carrots for people to give them and they were in horsey heaven! We will definitely be coming back soon!

We have tent camped here many times but this past weekend we splurged and rented a cabin. I am so happy we did because it rained like crazy all day. Hubby and I stayed dry and warm in the cabin. The amenities are wonderful. We played the 18-hole putt putt course and enjoyed all the fabulous Halloween decorations. The service we received when checking in and out was excellent. We will be back!

We (14 of us, 5 kids) dropped in for nice post Halloween weekend to find a Trick-or-treat scheduled at 4 pm Saturday which delighted the crumbsnatchers. Accommodations were nice and we were close to the bathroom with showers. Camp personnel were like cousins - super helpful and friendly. We rents the newer cabins which were large and had 4 beds. Fire pits and camp tables per modern cabin next to a free miniature golf that got plenty of use by our non-golfers. A daytrip to the battlefield was full of stories and very fun. Everyone we met at the campground was wonderful. If the fork in the road leads to Artillery Ridge Campground Gettysburg, take it!

We stayed at Artillery Ridge Oct 7-14. We had a great experience. We were on site 110 and had plenty of room. I absolutely love how close this campground is to everything. You are practically across the road from Gettysburg Battlefield Park and less than a mile from the visitor center. Anything you need in town is just a few minutes away. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the campground store has lots of items. Highly recommended!
