About Campground

Here at the Roost, we have a wide variety of activities, and are sure that you’ll find something that you will enjoy. Just a few of them are: Bike Riding, Bingo, Card Games, Campfires, Darts, Fitness Center, Horseshoes, Pool, Shuffleboard, Swimming, Washer Board.

We have an amazing number of very talented campers who enjoy spending their time creating new classes or new activities, such as Scrapbooking, Beanie Bags, Open Crafts, and MORE–You can be as busy as you want to be! Our campers are what make Quail Roost such a GREAT place to spend the winter, and they return year after year, not only because of what we offer, but because the atmosphere is “family.”

You’ll never miss out on holidays here, because we celebrate all the special events: Thanksgiving, Christmas Tree Decorating, Christmas Eve Caroling/Party, Christmas Dinner, New Year’s Eve Party, Super Bowl Party!

If you like to shop and/or dine out, there is a mall just 5 miles away, and other malls a little farther; and, of course, several Walmart’s, close-by as well. Any restaurant chain you can think of is just a short drive away. MORE THINGS TO DO If you want to be out and about for the day(or a few days!), there are many nearby activities and attractions to keep you “on the go!”

Stayed here for one night stop over. It was quiet and peaceful. It is a little farther out from Crystal River where I wanted to visit but it was worth it.

We got there after the office had closed but she had it all ready with great directions to our site and codes for restrooms and all. We will definitely be back thank you for the great campsites Reasonably priced. No gouging.

There is nothing to do in pool is dirty. RVs are stacked on top of each other. Plus you have to drive 30 to get to anywhere

Power supply damages rv due to constant surges

Management, Mr. Cory, has contempt for campers. Makes meeting and does not appear or cancel

Sewer system stinks up camp

Pool not heated

Ammenities advertised on their website are false. Many don't exist.

Constant turnover of management.

STAY AWAY!

New manager, Jody is afraid to manage, and particularly afraid of her boss Corky.

I could go on and on but I think the reader of this is getting my point.

Any park is better than quail Roost.

Walmart parking lot included!
