This recreation area is part of Fort Gibson Lake
My family paid for a party to be held here and once they arrived to set it up they were completely expected and told to just have the people who were already there swimming just for fun, to move and to make room for their party. There wasn't any "reserved" signs out. I thought that was super unprofessional as you shouldn't have one customer having to approach the other customer about moving out of the way for them. That's something the staff should have done themselves if they didn't have a sign to put out stating it will be reserved soon.
I still give two stars because they did have life jackets hung up along the walls for public use and they really came in handy.
Great facility, welcoming people, excellent classes. Really enjoyed the pool. The Pickle Ball group on Tuesday and Thursday morning is really welcoming and happy to get new people into the flow.
Great, clean place to come workout. I have went to both the gym and the pool. Been going for years. The workers are constantly cleaning and disinfecting, as well as vacuuming. Staff is always helpful when you ever have any questions. In my experience 99% of the fellow gym members are usually all nice and courteous.
The rec center is a multi function facility that covers swim, workout, track, and basketball needs daily it also has conference rooms available it houses the boys and girls club has nice changing rooms and it is a really good pool(indoor)
What a blessing this place is. Great staff and great pool. In town for work. The town of pryor is very fortunate to have a great facility like this..
