This recreation area is part of Tenkiller Ferry Lake
From Tahlequah, take Hwy 62 south for three miles to the SH 82 junction. Go south on 82 for 11 miles. From I-40, exit at Vian. Take Hwy 82 north, approximately 20 miles to entrance of park.
it was nice, and it will be ready for the summer folks were cleaning up. BUT DONT EAT THE BBQ FROM THE OKLAHOMA STATION. IT WAS NASTY. THE LADY SAID IT WAS CHOPPED BRISKET BUT IT WASN'T.. AND IT WAS OLD.
The campground itself overall is very beautiful and I did enjoy it, but there were only a few things I found to be a bit of a problem, they only have one shower house and it's so far away from where we were camping. The price was also a bit higher than what I expected for an electric site, and the campgrounds will not accept cash at all, but like I said it truly is a very beautiful Campground and very well kept.
