A kayaker’s dream! Several beautiful locations and easy entry points to explore.
The State Parks of Oklahoma have done a lot improvement the last 3 years ! We are starting to see the results of the parking fee being charged! There is a lots of things we still need but I’m sure the new park manager will get it done in time !
Park area was super quiet, clean, and relaxing. It wasn’t until about 4-5 hours after being there that someone approached us talking us they had a reservation for three sections that we finally left. Could’ve easily stayed all day had our children not decided to attempt to swim to the opposite side of the lake and we had to go and get them.
Great place to camp! Grassy, softer spots as well as concrete pads. Lots of grills. Kids' playground that's in great shape and away from the water. Pit toilets are in great condition with lots of toilet paper.
