My oldest brother wanted to have a small gathering for his BiG 50, we thought it would be fun to try local mini golf.
We really enjoyed ourselves.
Had a great time and was super affordable. My young boys really enjoyed themselves and it's nice to know that there is a mini golf course near Locust Grove. Will definitely come back.
Complete shitshow. Photos online make it seem like a paradise with plenty of space. In reality, what you get is a gravel lot with grass that looks like it hadn’t been mowed in months. The small area is completely surrounded by a fence making it difficult to pull a trailer in. Game room was not air conditioned so it was boiling hot, and there’s not even a bathroom. Steer clear. False advertising.
We decided to rent a place to park our 5th wheel by a lake for the summer/fall and after looking at several properties around Oklahoma, decided on Lake Hudson Resort because it was by far the nicest RV park we saw. It has a lot to offer such as a nice pool, mini-golf and even a game room! The management here are really nice too. Don’t let the fact that it’s a work in progress scare you off, and in fact, I consider this a hidden gem! They have come a long way in a very short period of time and I believe it’s only going to get better and better. We’ve been here about 3 weeks now and loving it!
I would love to share a good experience but unfortunately it was nothing as expected when looking at the website or Facebook. Transparency is key. I completely understand building a business/park and things may not be complete yet but just let that be known. However we were not aware how unfinished the park actually is. We were told there was direct access to the lake with a boat ramp (even told this on the phone when booking). There was no road to the boat ramp. You drive through the pasture to a “ramp” but the cove is too low to launch anything even with the lake up a foot. Even as my husband showed up the kid working said he would not use this ramp and suggested launching elsewhere. We would have booked a different place had we even known that.
They were placing gravel when we showed up to the park. Again I understand being a work in progress but the only thing the site or social says that is a work in progress is glamping. The spots are small and designed poorly. For a large 5th wheel you cannot back into any spot because there are fences on both sides of the pasture. I would suggest redesigning or you will never fulfill all your spots. Facebook says big rig friendly which is far from true. The sewer hook ups are not typical or screw in so we had to cut ours in order to fit it.
The mini golf and game room are fine but the rest of the park is far from complete and for what is “done” honestly needs reworked.
