Incredible place and exceptional service. Our group stayed in the cabins and the tents. The cabin is well insulated and well equipped. The tents are very cozy and private.
We did the ATV tours with Tobi and had a blast at the mud pit!
I will come back for more.
My husband and I rented one of their tents for our wedding weekend, the staff at Porters Peak was amazing to deal with, I even called them day of the wedding and they allowed me to book additional tents for a few of my friends!!! The views are STUNNING. They also left us a wedding card and a bottle of wine in our tent! They where nothing short of amazing.
Only downside was how cold it was overnight in the tents but that's what we get for booking in the end of October!! However with the wood fire burning it was quite toasty inside the tent! Will definitely be coming back!
We loved the location and had a very relaxing weekend. The cabins are really nice and clean. There was an issue with our bathroom light not working and unfortunately when I let them know they did not offer to fix it for out stay which created some inconvenience.
The property is beautiful. A couple of suggestions I have would be to put some solar lights on the deck for light when cooking in the evening and add some shelter over the outdoor cooking space for rainy days.
If you are looking for some peace and quiet just moments away from the city, look no further! I have stayed here 3 times now since Jan. 1 and love it more and more with every stay! I do recommend booking for 2 nights if you can, one night just isn't enough!
A group of girlfriends and I headed down to Porters Peak for a weekend and stayed in the safari tents. It was the perfect weekend girls getaway in nature! We loved paddling around the lake, sitting around the fire and walking around the beautiful property. The beds were so comfy and cozy and the tents and outdoor kitchen was very well equipped. We headed to the peak for sunset and enjoyed the expansive view. I really recommend heading out of the city for a nature escape at PP! Such a great way to recharge and spend quality time with friends and family!
