About Campground

We are a small hobby farm in rural Maine. We raise alpacas for fiber and work our apple orchard featuring heritage apple varieties. We produce a variety of farm products. We also have horses, rabbits and ducks. We rescue Australian Shepherd dogs for Australian Shepherds Furever. A private road leads to our upper pasture where we can accommodate RVs or tents. Dogs and horses are welcome. We are surrounded by miles of wooded trails.

This is one of the most beautiful places I've ever been. The wedding I attended was impeccable. The environment is serene and comforting and the house/barn combo offers a welcoming home alongside a huge party space.

All well and good, but the staff is what sets Maple Rock Farm apart from other venues. These people sincerely care about their clients and work tirelessly to offer the experience of their dreams. On top of that, they're friendly, welcoming, and they know how to throw a party.

Honestly I found it IMPOSSIBLE not to have a great time at MRF. Only look into this venue if you’re a fan of fun, authenticity, and comfort.

We cannot praise Maple Rock Farm enough! We had originally planned to get married there in 2020, but because of the pandemic we postponed to July 2021. Maple Rock supported us every step of the way and was incredibly gracious and patient through the whole process. What could have been a very trying situation was exponentially less stressful because of that! Bill and Cass are wonderful human beings that just want the best for your day. They were very easy to talk with and relate to. Their professionalism was balanced perfectly by their humor and down to earth personalities. Even when weather caused plans to change, everything went smoothly thanks to their quick-thinking and attention to detail. The property is amazing. We constantly received compliments after our wedding on how beautiful the space was. In a time filled with barn weddings, the history and character of Maple Rock Farm makes it unique. We had a wonderful experience with Maple Rock Farm and could not recommend them enough!

My husband and I got married at Maple Rock Farm in June and it was a wonderful experience. Bill and Cass made sure all of our needs were met and made our rainy wedding day feel magical (and even provided us with cute umbrellas for photos!). All of our vendors were local from the area and made it very easy to host 90 people with good food and desserts. Maple Rock Farm staff were amazing and the price was unbeatable!

We feel so lucky that we found Maple Rock for our wedding! After reaching out to almost a dozen venues, we stumbled onto Maple Rock, and it quickly became the clear winner. The property is gorgeous, and the barn is full of character and charm.

Bill and Cass were so fun to work with.We also had them do our day-of coordination and they really went above and beyond in making sure that our day was perfect. We wanted a non-traditional Jew-ish ceremony that was a bit different from the typical American wedding. Bill and Cass were eager to learn and help make our somewhat hazy vision into a beautiful reality. They are well connected to all of the best vendors in the area, which helped us tremendously with planning. Moreover, they have strong relationships with the local community and really came through to solve last minute challenges.

We had envisioned a ceremony overlooking the White Mountains, but rainy weather meant we had to move the ceremony to the barn. They didn't miss a beat, and quickly rearranged the barn to a beautiful ceremony space, and then back to a reception space in the blink of an eye. The barn is so beautiful that we still had a gorgeous backdrop for our ceremony photos, and we were able to get the outdoor photos we wanted during a break in the rain. Rain or shine, the folks at Maple Rock will help you create an incredible wedding day!

Hello from Audrey and Sam!

We can't think of a venue more deserving of this 5 star review. Having planned our Sept. 2023 wedding for a full year, we were nervous about how it would all turn out to say the least. When we arrived on location the nerves were quickly abated and Maple Rock worked tirelessly to make the day we had worked so hard to plan, a reality.

It was truly our dream wedding made manifest and we couldn't have asked for a better location or a more dedicated staff. If you plan to have your event here, please use every part of the venue. (or a least as much as you can!) We realized that was probably our favorite takeaway and looking back we now have significant memories in each spot. The barn is of course timeless and lovely (Bill put a fresh coat of paint on it that summer and the red was shining bright!), the orchard feels both welcoming with a touch of wilderness, and the Inn was clean, comfortable and aesthetically awesome!

It's not something you can control but we also ended up with picturesque weather and boy, does the property sing if that's the case! However, we were also comforted to know that they had a game plan ready for pending poor weather as well.

We've included a few photos here but again, we can't thank Maple Rock enough for helping make our dream wedding happen. Awesome, magical, place and awesomely kind people!
