Had the pleasure of visiting during memorial weekend. Environment was very inviting. Staff was welcoming. Steffen was very helpful and kind also very knowledgeable. Loved visiting all the animals. The baby goats were absolutely adorable. Would definitely visit again.
Long standing local campground recently taken over by Sun Retreats. Price is very high for the amenities they are currently offering. Staff is friendly and attentive, and bath houses are very clean. Our site was not maintained and barely usable.
The camping isn’t bad at all. The sites are nice enough. My issue is with the amenities. I booked for Memorial Day excited for 2 things on the website, the pool, and mini golf. When I arrived Friday evening I was shocked to find that the pool no longer exists and neither does the mini golf. If I was told of this I would have went elsewhere but they knew better than to let you know before arrival that they offer 1/8 of what they say. I even called to see and never got a response. Staff is friendly but management is horrible. Would do 3 stars but I don’t like false advertising.
