Really loved this campground. Clean mostly level sites. Lots of trees, nice pond with walking path around, big clean pool, dog part etc. Owner Don and daughter Ange are super friendly and helpful. Nice job guys!
This was our first visit to Butterfly Camping Resort, and it will not be our last. The campsites are very shady and well maintained. We have a 17 ft trailer, and it was easy to back into our site. The facilities are very clean and they have a fantastic salt water pool. Our grandson came for an overnight, and we couldn't get him out of the pool! The staff is friendly and helpful. Definitely a hidden gem!
This place is a "resort" Campground. It is expensive for working people. Meaning you are there because of your job. But it is a pleasant place. Full of trees and plenty to do if your on vacation. We will return there for a vacation. But if your staying there to put a camper for work, I don't recommend it. The only issue is it's an expensive place to park and trying to save money.
We had two adults and two kids in a rustic cabin. It met all expectations. There was AC, two windows, picnic bench outside, fire pit and space for a pack n play in the cabin. The pool was really nice and had plenty of shade and picnic tables and
The owner was extremely accommodating. After hours, she went out of her way stopping a game she was playing with other campers to get me diapers when I ran out and was trying to put my baby to bed - she happen to have left over from a family member and I was super grateful. My daughter participated in the crafts and had a great time in the arcade - bring quarters!
The resort is money hungry, I dumped my camper on the way into my campsite. I was asked the next day to pay for using the dump station. I paid them the fee although felt that it was kind of ridiculous beings that the camper was booked there for the weekend. Fast forward to the day we leave the campground, the office attempted to charge me again for using the dumping site. What kind of campground charges their guest to use a dumping station? Doesn’t make sense and we’ve never ran into an issue such as this in the past, this is coming from an experienced camping family.
