There are several ways to the campground. We suggest below-driving directions, especially for trailers. If you enter Goritz road from County road 579 it is beautiful, scenic turns to DIRT road, steep with sharp turns no guard rails and it is impossible to make a turn into the campground( We know some have tried). ALSO if you have a large trailer or towing a car or additional trailer and can not back up please stop 50 to 100 meters short of the office area so you have room to turn if needed. If you pull to far ahead you will have to unhook to turn around.
Normal travelers and trailers that feel comfortable passing under an 11'6' underpass.

This is the best low-key campground in the area and the sites are very nice. And by very nice I mean they are decent condition good old-fashioned campsites. There is water and electric hookup on a lot of the sites even the primitive sites.
I would recommend any of the field campsites for anyone trying this out for the first time. It was a very nice experience and the owners are incredibly friendly.
This camp ground is amazing! The owner and his family is so nice we became friends right away! Bathrooms are very clean and spacious. The camping sites are spaced nicely. Perfect for a weekend get away!!
Great location. Remote atmosphere. Bath houses are incredibly clean. Doug is the best. See you next time!

My family and I love coming here! We visited for a second time, and loved both camp sites we were in. 95 & 97. The primitive campsites are well spaced apart and private, you can barely hear your neighbors. The service is great as well, and the bath house is as clean as you’d expect for a campground.
