I have been at Pinederrosa for 10 years. This is a family oriented atmosphere. A great place to relax and enjoy the good life. The owner does everything he can to keep the rates low so all can enjoy. If you enjoy hunting and fishing or quite and the sound of whipperwills at night come and experience Pinederrosa you will be glad you did.
Have camped here for 6 years and always had a great experience. Close to Richard B. Russell lake, close to Elberton. The owner is constantly improving and has not went up on charges. Direct TV is available at every site for a minimal charge, new laundromat, ice and trash service.
This a perfect camp ground if you like to fish and hunt. John and Barry Davis are the most helpful and friendly owners you could ask for. It is great place to spend some time for rest and relax. I have recommended it to several of my friends and family who love it here.
I would like to tell everyone about a hidden gem of a place that I found on the Georgia/South Carolina boarder. The Pine-Der-Rosa is a RV/campground park located on lake Russell near Beaver Dam creek. They have the best rates of anyone on lake Russell, but that's not the best part their service is second to none, if you need anything John or Barry Davis will bend over backwards to see that you are accommodated. They even have a masterful way of entertaining you, where you feel right at home. Most importantly is that I feel my stuff (i.e. Camper, boat, equipment) is SAFE there. I don't have to worry when I'm not there my goods are monitored 24/7. The added bonus is the excellent bass/crappie fishing for avid fishermen, this is primarily just a fishing lake, which is hard to find these days. However, places to stay are hard to find, but after searching and staying at a lot of locations, I've found the best possible place the Pine-Der-Rosa!
Great rates and a wonderful owner. The place is well cared for. Grass is always cut, facilities are clean, location is great, and it's peaceful. It's minutes from the nearby town (with stores and restaurants) and Richard B. Russell State Park. I'm so glad we found this gem to call our second home!
