We took an early morning ride on the horses through the woods & loved it! Lots of fun - the family that runs this park are great. Will return in the future :-)

We had such a nice trail ride. Very scenic and great for deer spotting too. Horses are very gentle and great for kids

I have camped here several times in the past and of course horseback riding. Very kid friendly rides and would recommend for the whole family. Other attractions like slick trac, bumper boats, and go karts were not running and look like they are beyond repair. Kinda sad considering all of my memories of these things from when I was a kid.

My family reunion is held at Cooks Forest every year. I took the opportunity to take my son horse back riding.

It was his first time. If like to thank the crew at the stables for making my son feel comfortable with the experience.

Especially Cheyenne, I was in a fairly sizable group and somehow she managed to make the experience very personal to everyone in my opinion all while riding a horse.

She was very personable, and professional.

I talked to her very briefly at the end of our ride. About the history of the area and property. Being a direct descendant of the Cook family I was interested in such things.

Even though she was clearly busy with her job she took the time to engage me and answer my questions.

Thank you for the memories you gave my son and my self.

I'll be sure it's an annual visit
