Quiet campground, nice lots, activities available all through the summer months. Jim and Ashley continue to make upgrades to the campground. They’ve added a beautiful in ground pool and restrooms, upgraded the Wi-Fi signal.

My daughter had a softball tourney in the area, so we decided to stay here. There isn't a ton of extracurricular activities, but we still found it quite pleasant. The grounds are clean and well kept. I had a chance to interact with the owners (I believe she said that they have owned the place for over a year) and they were absolutely wonderful. The bathrooms were clean and the showers were nice and hot. I was a bit surprised that there wasn’t a pool, but that isn’t a deal breaker for us. There is a creek that runs alongside the campground and my 11-year-old daughter enjoyed hanging out there. Would definitely recommend checking this place out. ~ Carrie

We have been holiday weekend campers for over 25 years at wheel in .We ve introduced our 6 kids to camping and now they ve introduced our grandchildren. Camping is great bonding with family .Their favorite part of the holiday weekends have always been the dance party in the pavilion. My oldest daughter also met her husband at wheel in when she was younger that met up later in life and have 4 beautiful children. Thanks wheel in for so many great memories created 🙂

A nice area to camp.

Many sites are grass. Many sites are seasonal units.

The firewood we purchased was extremely wet.

The playground is central and highly visible from most camp sites. The arcade is filled with classic games and it is very fun! In particular, we really enjoyed a bowling game.

We will likely return at some point, but would not recommend this campground for prime season.
