Spent two nights there Sunday through Tuesday. Had the place almost to ourselves Sunday night. The fireplace in the dining room was great to be able to use. There are numerous gathering areas scattered around the inn that are great for 2-8 people to hang out or play games. There is a library with movies, games, and books. The outdoor patio looks like fun but it was cold and misting/snowing so we didn't use the fire pit or tables. There are several trails that are well marked and easily walked. The lake is lowered during the winter months to prepare for the influx of spring rains so it doesn't look like the pictures during that time. 😀 We enjoyed our stay and the staff were great!

Gorgeous inn and gorgeous view of the lake! We stayed here for Penn State move in weekend and it was a wonderful stay! The inn is so unique and I loved that each room was named after a different bird. I also loved their commitment being more environmentally friendly. The rooms were clean and very spacious, with each room having a balcony or patio. I also loved that they had a library in the inn, it was a great place to go and get some work done! Breakfast here was amazing, probably the best hotel/inn breakfast I’ve had. Staff was very friendly and attentive. I would highly recommend and will definitely be back!

Ended up here by chance because my car broke down, but we could not have found a more lovely place to stay! We are planning a new trip just so we can come back here and stay! Gorgeous area, beautiful rooms, very cozy spot. Loved it here.

The Nature Inn is a beautiful eco-lodge. The rooms are gorgeous with a patio or porch available for each room, either forest or lake facing. The beds are comfortable and there is more than enough room for you to bring a few groceries for your stay. The nearest place to get food besides the free breakfast they offer for guests is a Sheetz about 20 minutes away.

The Inn is nestled in beautiful Bald Eagle State Park with more than enough gorgeous views to go around. The trails are very walkable and there are about 3 you can start a few steps from the Inn. The fishing pier located about 5 minutes away was beautiful and even on a pretty brisk day my husband and I both caught beautiful perch.

I would be remiss to not mention how QUIET this place is. I probably spent a good few hours on the porch enjoying the silence. We arrived at night and heard nothing but deer right below us stepping on some leaves. This place is truly magical.

I would recommend the Inn to anyone looking to get away and reconnect with nature. It is a good drive away (3.5 hours for us) from SEPA but so very worth it.

We just spent two nights there.

We had a beautiful suite overlooking the reservoir. Unfortunately the furniture was horrible. Extremely hard. Please fix that. The bed was comfortable, but to spend that amount of $ and not having a comfortable couch or stairs to sit in should matter.

Staff was very friendly, the food was good too. The views are probably the best around. It snowed hard the one day and it felt like we were in a snow globe.

Hope this helps
