The Pine Creek - Cottonwood loop has sites with full hookups and sites with water and power only
We went late in the season and were happy to find all of the amenities were still available. The sites were very clean and well laid out. They have a shower that was a blessing. Would highly recommend giving this site a try. Not too far from town if you needed supplies. The cell coverage was not great with AT&T which was great.
We had a great time. We had a lot of fun despite having to be quiet between 10pm and 7am. Avoid renting the OH114 HAS NO ELECTRICITY AND THEY KNOW IT AND THEY STILL RENT IT TO YOU AT THE SAME PRICE AS THE REST. The fire pit area needs more space, the chairs can hardly fit around it, they need to clean more soil to get a little more capacity, the trees and weeds are very close to the fire pit. I would have loved it if the space was a little bigger.
Stayed here with a group for just a night. A beautiful campground with a small river running through it. There were tons on hummingbirds flying around along with other wildlife like squirrels and chipmunks.
The spots are fairly close together but luckily it has flush toilets and showers. If you have an RV many of the sites have water and sewer hookups.
Shade was a little spotty overall but since we went early spring it wasn’t too hot yet.
Beautiful location. Easy access to many hiking and biking trails. Bathrooms are heated and spotless. Showering was very pleasant - private rooms with newly renovated showers and HOT water! Sites have paved parking spots, huge, gravel, flat tent pads, large new metal picnic tables, a fire ring, charcoal BBQ, and a potable water spigot.
This is a very nice state park campground. Mahogany campground has all hookups, even sewer which is nice but rare in state parks. Note that it is tight in mahogany and many sites are not level across the site. So I would not recommend Mahogany for larger rigs. The lower loop is better for big rigs. There is also an upper loop without services for tent and small boondocking. Lots of trees and shade. Wasatch mountain State Park has lots to do. Hiking, golf, atv, archery
