A gorgeous gem hid away in the Uintas. Not many people frequent this spot and it has some great views and excellent camping spots. If you want a serene place to paddle board then camp or just a day trip getaway then this is a great choice.
One of the most beautiful lakes I’ve ever been to! The road to get there is not for the faint of heart. We made it in our honda civic lx for most of the way, but then had to backpack in for the last 1/4 of a mile to the lake. The journey to get there was worth it! all BLM camping. Pack in pack out!
Great lake to relax at for the day or camp for a few nights. You will need a 4x4 vehicle to get to the lake. The campsites at the lake are usually taken. There are a few good spots on the road down to the lake. The one we camped at only had a few spots for my 4 man tent. There are some smaller areas that could fit 2 man tents. The terrain is pretty rocky. Overall a great place to camp.
Such an amazing spot. Little hard to get too. Four wheel drive recommended. Great to relax and unwind.
This is one of my favorite places along the mirror lake highway. I love the natural fish up here and no one else around
