Rainbow Park Campground is 28 miles from the Quarry Visitor Center in the Utah portion of the monument. It is located on a dirt road that is impassable when wet. The campground is located on the Green River near the Rainbow Park Boat Ramp at the head of Split Mountain Canyon. Rainbow Park Campground is open year-round, but there is no winter maintenance on the unpaved road.

Quaint secluded location on the Green River with beautiful North-side views of Split Mountain. Dirt Roads most all the way. Not accessible in the Winter. Rafting boats use this to either launch or disembark. Can be crowded at those times.
Stayed here nearly a month late September into October. Got busy on weekends but not crazy. Met some old man that knew our names and said that he had a dream he would meet us that day. He said to be careful with this crystal we had just found, because it can open doorways into other worlds. Crystal mysteriously disappeared. Never seen him before that conversation. Give this place 5 out of 5 skinwalkers.
