2022-23 Brought in record levels of snow to the part of Utah this property is located on, snowing feet at the time over night through the entire property and management along with staff took care of the roads and plowed them every morning. I would trust being here during the winter and being able to easily exit with how well they take care of even the furthest streets from the main road. I am incredibly happy with my stay here, the staff is very friendly and informative both in the office and on the grounds. Easy access to clean restroom and laundry areas. Beautiful walking trails all along the property even in the winter. They even helped me out one morning i found my RVs battery dead! The wild life here ranges from beavers to cranes and everything in between. It was a pleasure to take our dogs on hikes along the river every day. Would recommend this place to anyone over the other places we have stayed in the heber/park city area. Hope to finally see the heber city mountains in the summer, if we are ever in the area we are stopping here again!
It is a decent place, no frills. Gravel was pretty messy for our big rig, had to drop trailer becouse site so short. People where nice at front desk. There are a few cranes walking around that are cool. Walking path across the street. I saw a lot of people fishing. About 30 min to Park City downtown.
When I arrived, I asked if there was a less expensive spot with water/electric only that would still get wi-fi. They said the entire park gets wi-fi so that's nice. The younger gal told me what was available and had me look around to see which spot I'd rather have. When I looked the other spots didn't have electric meters. Thought that was unusual as you usually see water/electric only and then have a dump station. Went back to the office she said they were water/sewer only. Apparently, she didn't hear me say I needed electric and water. So, obviously not what I was looking for so I ended up staying at the original spot which was fhu pull through spot 14 for a night. The wi-fi worked very well. Unfortunately, they were out of propane so I couldn't use the showers that night. In the morning, I called the office and the other lady said they were on site filling the tank and since no one was going in my spot right away they extended check out. That was nice. I waited an hour and a half or so before trying the showers. The water was still ice cold. Went into the office to let them know and the younger gal said they just filled them so it would take time for them to warm up. I told her I had waited so was just making sure pilot lights were lit and such. She was a bit short with me but did check and said all was up and running just needed more time. So just before noon, I tried showers again with success. It's a nice area. However, I didn't like the vibe in the office so I wouldn't stay there again. I had even told the girl it was my birthday and she didn't even say a word. Just thought that was strange.
We had a great time at Rivers Edge! The grounds are beautiful, the cabins are great with plenty of storage space. We will definitely be staying there again!
I love this place. It's such a beautiful area.
We have been going here with our little family every year.
