About Campground

Come to experience the "marriage of the waters" and enjoy some great fishing - Catskill Mountain style, rustic cabins on the banks of the East Branch of the Delaware river, one of three great Catskill rivers.

We are just 7 miles from: the Beaverkill, Willowemoc, Horton, and Chilloway. And just 10 miles from the West Branch of the Delaware River.

Pepacton Cabins are located in the town of Colchester, a wonderland any time of the year. Colchester is within the Catskill Forest Preserve and Game Management Areas. Miles of beautiful scenery provides a wealth of opportunities for outdoor activities. Flowing rivers glide past green mountainsides and offer many miles of water for fishing and canoeing enthusiasts. Our cabins provide easy access to hunting, snowmobiling, skiing, hiking and bird-watching.

Amazing hospitality from the cabin owner. We went here on March so it was drizzling. in my opinion you should go here starting end of May. Enjoy befriending some llamas and alpacas. There's few fishing spots nearby and if you catch none, you can always try the pond nearby that belongs to the owner.

Beautiful place to unplug from the daily hustle and bustle and enjoy a bit of nature! We stayed at the Algonkin cabin with our 2 toddlers. They had a wonderful time being by the river, exploring the trail to and along the pond, and visiting the alpacas/llamas on the property. We were able to do a BBQ and set up a bonfire. We put up a camping tent in the yard between the cabin and the river. The kids loved it!

The owners were available to answer any questions, just a call away. There was no cell reception or wifi. We loved being able to completely unplug in that sense (but may not be everyone's cup of tea)

We saw woodpeckers, owls, eagles, deer, ducks, and so much more. Beautiful views everywhere. There's so much to see in the area from covered bridges to waterfalls and cute antique shops.

I took my own comforters and I'm glad I did. The ones provided were not very comfortable.
