Stayed here for an anniversary getaway. When we first arrived, we worried it was a bit rustic for our older bones. But, the charm seeps in - the owner is lovely , our tent was comfortable, we loved sitting by our campfire with the blue moon. And we enjoyed the other campers - met some wonderful people and had great conversations in the communal atmosphere, enjoyed interacting with excited youngsters collecting eggs, picking greens. Location is great, managed to get to Hudson, Art Omi, Redhook and Tivoli. Left feeling grateful!

Gatherwild is such a wonderful space for anyone looking for beautiful rolling hills and cozy evenings. Great vibes and the owner is lovely/so accommodating. We stayed in the A-Frame and highly recommend to others who enjoy a good glamping experience!

We had a wonderful experience at Gatherwild. The space is really unique and elegant for a glamping spot. Bathrooms in particular are gorgeous and the space has a ton of charm. We visited while cycling along the Empire State Trail and were staying one night at the ranch when a huge rainstorm hit New York State. Lack of public transit and Ubers left us stranded and unable to ride forward, but the Gatherwild owner, Laura, went out of her way to drive us an hour to Poughkeepsie in her pickup truck (also transporting our four bikes!) so we could catch Metro North from there. We could not have continued our trip without her help. Highly recommend!

I booked a last minute stay at Gatherwild while on a cycling tour. When it turned out I wouldn't be able to make it to the ranch before dark, Laura was so generous to offer me a ride the rest of the way - bike and all. The grounds are lovely, and I was treated to gorgeous autumn views in the morning. I am so glad I spent the night here!

Gatherwild is an amazing place, and we had a wonderful time for our peaceful couple’s getaway! We didn’t have a car so we spent most our days on the ranch, and it was so relaxing! The layout of the grounds is super intuitive and they really have everything you need. The bathhouse was consistently clean and the kitchen is well stocked with any cooking tools you may need. Laura was so kind to show us around the garden and introduce us to the sweet goats and chickens. My favorite part was the stars at night, it was truly incredible! Thanks so much for having us, I highly recommend Gatherwild Ranch! :)
