My wife and I spent two nights in the hotel at the end of June. When we went downstairs for the free breakfast, Rob, the co-owner talked to us for over an hour. That evening, we spent some time in the bar area and Elyce, the other owner and Rob's wife, came to our table and spoke with us for about 30 minutes. They are two of the nicest people I have met in a long time. They make you feel as if you have known them your entire life. It was refreshing to speak with someone my age with similar life experiences who I believe were talking to us out of genuine kindness. Their daughter waited on us for lunch on Saturday and was exceptionally patient with my less than easy to deal with father and sister. Not many people I know have as much grace as she showed while dealing with their, let's call them idiosyncrasies. The food was excellent and reasonably priced with large portions. Although the Beaver-Del is a 9 hour drive from were we live in Virginia, we definitely plan on visiting here again.
The staff here is always very friendly, and the owner is very nice as well. One of the few places around where you can get great food and big portions. A great place to stop after fishing! 10/10
Love this place. Nice owners, good food (shame they had to shrink the menu because of covid), and right next to prime fishing. Very popular place to camp during the summer (though I haven't camped there).
This is our regular go to place for dinner. Popular with locals, campers and seasonal home owners. Dinning room that is a separate room from the bar looks out over the river and one of the most spectacular trees I have ever seen.
