From jct US 61 & Scenic CR 61: Go 2-1/2 mi S on Scenic CR 61.
Stan and Pennie are fantastic campground hosts. Good natured and helpful, going out of their way to get our RV electricity back on after a severe rain storm. They supplied just the tool we needed to get things going again. Beautiful campgrounds. We had a so-needed relaxing weekend in our RV.
We loved the convenient location! The highway noise is minimal, especially at night. We appreciated the bathrooms, showers, dumpster for garbage, the owner’s willingness to provide a dump service while you’re away for a minimal fee was great and they also have a separate dump station.
We camped with a party of two adults, one adult and child, and two families of 4. Bring your outdoor games - they have a large field where you can play a variety of games.
Our overall experience was great! The FYI and campground rules sheet was very handy. As long as you’re respectful of the owners and their rules you’ll have a great experience like us!
Small campground ,outdated ,women that owns the place wanted to charge us a $5 fee for getting there 1hr early, we didn't account for the time change. She was also pretty rude when she talked to us and other campers. Go elsewhere where you feel welcome.
SAVE YOUR MONEY!!! I would call this place a one and done as you will not want to go back. Would not recommend this Campsite. The rudeness from the owner (Penny) started with the initial call to reserve our campsite and continued at check-in. We had 4 campers in our group, and were all treated in this manner, the husband was not any better. We will not return to their location and would rather camp on the side of the road. We also had friends that stopped to have breakfast and within minutes Penny's husband verbally attacked our friends by telling them to get off the grass, they were trespassing, and this is private property and told them to leave. It ended with him calling the sheriff on our friends. If he would have given them a chance or let us inform them that they needed to check in, there wouldn't have been any problem.
Small campground but site size was generous. Some large trees and many smaller fruit trees.
Quiet and private. Owners are extremely friendly and helpful.
We had spot #1 so there was road noise but not too bad. Our site was gravel and long enough for our 36 foot mobile home, tow trailer and our car.
We did not have sewer hook up but dump station is close. Also for a small fee they will come to your RV and pump out your gray and black waste.
We had a picnic table and fire pit.
Would stay again
