From Hinckley take St Hwy 48 E from 1-35 23ml to Co Rd 173. Turn L go N on 173 for 5ml to Tamarack Forest Rd follow for approx 5ml to campground
Been camping here since I was about 16 (now alot older). Awesome secluded primitive (well pump for water & out houses) campgrounds right next to a lake. Good spaced out sites. Sucks the storm years ago took out some of the trees, but still love camping here!
Great secluded campground for exploring OHV trails in the area. Be sure to bring a way to secure your trash and food. I found bear tracks nearby. Only 4 stars because it was difficult to pay for the campsite and there were no wildlife proof dumpsters when I was there.
