I love this Campground. I have yet to enjoy the many features of this Campground but from the short walk through and observation of the rules, I find myself looking forward to exploring the many features this Campground has to offer.
Stopped for the night in May 2021 while canoeing the Upper Mississippi. Nice clean campground and was virtually empty when I was there. Waste treatment plant is within sight, but I never did smell it. Hot shower was the best part!
The people that they are letting camp there are becoming a setup for vagrants and homeless. They are having problems with the people that are staying there in town. If you use the access. Make sure you are locked up tight and nothing in eye sight. You vehicle will get broke into. Very sad that they are letting this happen.
Decent campground however I would not recommend reserving lot 8, lot 8 is right next to the dumpsters and septic dump station. Other campers are very rude in the very early morning slamming car doors and dumpster lids, and do keep in mind the water access is public so people coming and going all day until 10 pm, should be a private water access since it costs money to camp.
