Very clean campground with many ammenities. Pool is very well taken care of. Boat landing and cleaning house available. Paddle boats too. No complaints about the operation at all!

I camped with my family at Vagabond Village when I was a child and last summer I got the pleasure of bringing my own family! It is a wonderful place to camp! So close to Itasca and so many things to do nearby. That being said, you don't even need to leave the campground if you don't want to as there are so many things to do on the property! We played shuffleboard, tennis, tetherball and swam for hours in the pool and the lake! We also never missed a day without hand scooped ice cream! We will be back this summer!

Pluses: it's on a lake with a nice beach, there's a pool and a little store for ice, wood, ice cream, etc. The bathrooms are nice and clean. The sites have electric. Minuses: the sites are not private at all. Very few trees. You will be right on top of your neighbors. They nickel and dime you for everything. They would not allow two tents on a site, so I had to sleep in my car in a site reserved for 3 adults, even though the second tent was a tiny backpacking tent. The women at the front desk were very unpleasant. Im hoping our large group of 8 sites for 3 days goes elsewhere next year as the people running the place do not seem to appreciate our repeated business and giant load of money we give them each summer. There are many lakes with many campgrounds in Minnesota to choose from.
