Nice park with good trial path and zoo. You can spend time in the zoo before or after the 3-4 mile walk. Trial path is well maintained with scenic views, play grounds, fall and parkings. Either you can go in the walk or car to enjoy the nature. You definitely need bug spray as the trial goes through woods.

219 acres make this park the largest municipal park in Minnesota. It is gorgeous throughout. There are trails from one entrance to the next, some harder than others. There's a smaller zoo with bison, elk, deer, goats, and birds. There is also a campground, many picnic areas, shelter houses, and be sure to check out the Zeb Grey shelter near the west entrance. The view from there is amazing. The star of the park is Ramsey Falls. The Falls are accessible to everyone, and they're also wonderful every season of the year. The first weekend in May, the Falls and trails are lit up for Night Falls. You can walk or drive through for this event. As a local, I drive through a couple of times a week just to enjoy the never-ending beauty.

Beautiful place! Lots of different trails, falls, river walk and a suspension bridge. Most trails are paved. Covered picnic areas, playgrounds, and dogs are welcome on leashes. Plus the Zoo is right next to the park.

beautiful falls! but we had to sit and watch two women in purple stand on top of the falls and take selfies for ten minutes 🫤 and when they were done, they threw their plastic waterbottle into the falls! me and the other two people standing at the overlook couldn’t believe our eyes.

We camped and hiked here for two nights and saw most of the sights, but we'll definitely come back anyway. Beautifully maintained trails and breathtaking views of Ramsey Creek and the Redwood River make this a fantastic destination for overnights and day trips. They also have a cute little zoo for the littles to enjoy. All in all, one of the best places I've stayed at to date.
