Solid sandy lake bottom. Kids like the playground area. Plenty of picnic spaces for social distancing while enjoying the park.
This is a great place to either go swimming or head up on the dock and go fishing. This is usually a quiet place to fish, or even pull in and eat lunch at.
No water hook-up for camper. However had a nice clean bathroom and shower access. Lovely place. Small sites for camper though.
I went there the other evening to just be outdoors for awhile. I walked to the lake with my binoculars. I wish I could have taken pictures. Across the lake in a small area of open water , were 2 trumpeter swans ? and 3 ducks and close by on the ice were 2 eagles. I watched one eagle try twice to catch a fish with no luck. I'm glad I had binoculars. I don't know if ever again I could witness such a wonderful scene.
Nice neighborhood friendly park in a small town. Nice personing, fishing boating,
