Lots of rules, there's a whole page on their website dedicated to rules. I didn't feel like we could relax because I was always concerned we were going to catch heck from a campground worker driving around keeping their eye on us. It was actually stressful. The pool is a pretty sorry sight but it is in fact a pool. Well maintained but not awesome for people who like to relax with some cocktails around the fire at night (good luck not breaking an ankle because you better have your lights off!) and those who like to give their kids a little freedom to go to the park or ride bike without mom and dad close behind.
Oak Park Kampground is our families favorite campground. We have been going there annually for 5 years now, and it feels like a home away from home. Very well kept. Managed and run very well. The kids enjoy the activities they have on the weekends. They make you feel welcome.
Awesome little spot, stayed one night in our camper and it was lovely and very family friendly. Staff was so nice and helpful, they even dropped off some ice cream!! My husband got a great long exposure shot of the night sky as well.
Stayed here in our 39 foot class a motorhome while riding the Central Lakes Trail. Very clean, quiet, full hook ups, and yes, there are fair amount of rules, but it made for a very enjoyable stay for us. The bottom of the pool could maybe use a paint job, but it was clean and heated. Very refreshing after a day riding the Central Lakes trail. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again.
