219 acres make this park the largest municipal park in Minnesota. It is gorgeous throughout. There are trails from one entrance to the next, some harder than others. There's a smaller zoo with bison, elk, deer, goats, and birds. There is also a campground, many picnic areas, shelter houses, and be sure to check out the Zeb Grey shelter near the west entrance. The view from there is amazing. The star of the park is Ramsey Falls. The Falls are accessible to everyone, and they're also wonderful every season of the year. The first weekend in May, the Falls and trails are lit up for Night Falls. You can walk or drive through for this event. As a local, I drive through a couple of times a week just to enjoy the never-ending beauty.
