We are a family style campground featuring 30 full service 40'x60' sites w/20/30/50 amps. (16 pull thru sites for big rigs) Each site includes nice grass with a picnic table on a concrete pad, fire ring, soft water, sewer, electricity, 30 TV channels & Wi-Fi. We have a Recreation Hall with free foosball, ping pong, pool, air hockey, kitchenette area for potlucks, and restrooms w/showers. Our office has a small store, restrooms w/showers, firewood & Laundromat. Outdoors features chipper golf, volleyball, 2 large playgrounds, basketball, horseshoes, & swings. Within a few minutes is the mile long beach, fishing, golf, mini golf, amusement park & nature hiking. We pride ourselves on neatness and cleanliness and welcome families to enjoy a fun time at our campground & pets welcome! 2023 Rates: $45 per night
We made last-minute reservations for one night here while en route to Michigan. Karen was very cordial and professional on the phone. She also checked us in upon our arrival and was very thorough giving us complete information needed regarding the campground. Each site (I think there are 30) seemed to be level, shaded, with a concrete patio and nice picnic table. I believe each site has full hookups, as well. There was wifi, which worked very well. Cable TV was available, but we did not utilize. The grounds were immaculate with lots of cute landscape decorations tastefully done. There are lots of things to do for the kids, basketball, game room, two playgrounds, and more. Would I stay here again? Yes, absolutely!
We want to thank Karen and Todd for their hospitality and having a wonderful place for us and our little yorkie to stay on our Minnesota trip. There would not have been a better campground for us in this state! If we are ever back to Detroit Lakes we will definitely be contacting Country Campground.

We enjoyed our stay at Country Campground. We had a nicely shaded pull through, which was exactly what we wanted. The park was quiet at night. There was a music festival starting that caused some traffic but we were only there two nights. The Detroit Lakes area is nice and services were only a few miles from the Campground. The Campground is very well cared for and it shows.
This campground has been a weekend home during festival weekend for three years for myself and a couple of my friends. It’s the only reason we are still going in fact! Karen and her whole family are absolutely wonderful and we look forward to seeing them every year. We loving having our quiet place to relax before we head over to the chaos, and knowing we have a quiet place to go afterwards away from the craziness. It’s such a clean comfortable place and we appreciate them for all of it!
Stayed here in September. Unfortunately we only had two days to stay before we moved on. It was one of the nicest places we have been. Lots were large, well manicured, and very welcoming. Their restrooms were super clean, as was the laundry room. Staff are very friendly and helpful. We hope to pass through there again so we can book a longer stay next time!
