Went out swimming here this weekend after we tried MilleLacs and realized that was to gross for my kids!! Water was nice (a little green weeds/slime.. however it’s a lake🙃).. sand was nice and clean, nice little dock. Perfect area for my small toddlers!
Nice park. Good for birthday parties or gatherings. I love the frisbee golf course! The beach/swimming area is kind of iffy.. the beach tends to have sticks or other debris at times. The lake water can be pretty gross as well. Overall, it's a decent place, though
We had to reroute our plans and found this gem on RV Parky camping app. There's only 16 sites but they are very level, the area is very clean, grassy and a lovely spot to spend a night or two. I didn't go into the city park itself but there were a number of people playing disc golf. We saw a nice swimming lake, a few huge covered pavilions. Very enjoyable stay. You need a key to use the bathroom, which we did not need. It would have been placed in a baggie on your site when you arrived. I called the number listed, it was an easy way to reserve a spot.
Lum Park is awesome! There is so much space if you want to have a picnic. There is play ground equipment spread throughout. They have multiple docks to fish from and a great swimming beach. If you’re looking for a place to have a family outing it’s the place to go. Plus I got to see some locals using the water ski jump in the lake at the park which was cool.
Absolutely beautiful Park! It has lake access Lots of picnic space with barbecues. So much fun information to learn about the local animals. Also our kids really loved running on the beach and playing on the playground equipment. The only downside to this park was that the kids wished there was more playground equipment. I highly recommend this place for parties or just a fun day out with your family.
