**True peace can be found here.**
We had such a wonderful stay here and found it hard to leave to go back to the city after waking up to all the sights and sounds of the farm. Richard was a great host who was sure to check in and see if there was anything we needed. He showed us the walking paths along his property were, where we saw a bountiful of beautiful ferns and wildflowers. Our children enjoyed the large field where they tossed a ball with dad and flew their kite. Just beware of the mischievous goats who will sample your toiletries if you forget to close the bathroom door, as we found out! Thank you again for sharing your little slice of heaven with us! We look forward to staying with you again in the near future."

**A nice location.**
I really enjoyed my stay. Ric is very friendly and clearly loves to share his bucolic setting. It may not be for everyone, though. There are a lot of goats, chickens, dogs, roosters, ducks, etc. and when I arrived, they were making quite a racket. I was concerned about the noise level, but they quieted down by evening and it wasn't a problem. The Hawley trail system is just down the road and is a great place to hike. I stayed in my van, but you can choose to stay in a small, rustic old mining cabin or in a tent camp."
This place was truly amazing, we found it on hipcamp and stayed for a little bit. I loved seeing so many animals so close, rabbits came right up to our camp fire and we got to pet them! The big fluffy dogs were so fun and nice, and I loved seeing all the chickens and especially the roosters!! Support this rescue!!!
Highly recommend a visit at least to Ric's Peace Farm, and even more strongly suggest spending a few nights camping on this beautiful nature retreat! Ric was a great host and tour guide explaining his mission to help his beloved animals live a happy and healthy life. Ric has also done a great job with making this property more peaceful and in touch with nature from making a walking trail around his grounds to adding loving signs reminding you to sit back and smell the wild flowers!
This was one of our (group of 6 campers) favorite camping sites we've ever visited, because we got an awesome blend of playing with the farm animals/pets with hearing bountiful wild animals throughout the day/night. Beautiful and remote location makes this mountain campsite great for star gazing and appreciating the subtle senses in nature, which most campsites can't deliver!
Thanks for an awesome stay Ric, I can't wait to return to Peace Farm Rescue 😁
