Most of the sites here are seasonal folks. But, with that said everyone i met here were very nice. Staff in the store were helpful and pleasant, and the owner was efficient. The lake was nice, with a small beach to bring the kids. Had a nice little playground next to the beach for the kids, would be nice though to have a spot for on shore fishing, only because all the seasonal people had private ways to their docks. The site we had was very uneven so we had a hard time leveling, but we had full hook up.

My wife and I (and Jaxon, 2 yo Havanese) spent the weekend here from Sept 16-18. We had a great time. The Manager was extremely helpful throughout the reservation process and when we arrived she escorted us to our site on her golf cart. The campground seemed to be primarily seasonal campers and everyone was very friendly. They had a Halloween party for the kids starting at 4:00ish, which rolled into a DJ and bonfire in the evening. We had a fun time sitting at our picnic table with a drink and fire while handing out candy to all the kids in costumes. We would definitely return for another short-drive weekend at King's (we're only 60 minutes away).

Campsites (camper & tents) were neat & well maintained. Beautiful landscaping. Owner, Anne, has a green thumb!! Bathrooms were clean. Great beach on the lake w pavilion & docks. Lots of scheduled activities including cornhole & fishing tournaments throughout the summer.

We just camped here for a long weekend. Thurs- Mon. The campground is right on the lake and is kept immaculate. There are many seasonal campers there that obvisously love the campground because they have made the most beautiful seasonal sites I have ever seen!! The beach and pavilion are kept very clean and most importantly every person we met there was extremely friendly and polite. The campground is quiet. There is no ruckus- no loud people. It is very dog friendly .There is a great playground near the beach area. And the bath houses were incredibly clean!!! There is pay showers which was surprising but quarters were left by them. The bathroom even smelled nice!! We have been camping for 30 years and this definitely one of the the nicest campgrounds we have been to!! When we are ready for a seasonal this is where we will go! And in the meantime we will be back!!
